What it is
Chapter 3 of Kingdom of Numeria. The Equal Sign has been stolen from the Great Equation, and without it Numeria can no longer compare anything: pebbles outweigh wagons, pumpkins shrink smaller than acorns, fair trades stop making sense. The trail leads to the Scale-Sand Desert, and equal, more, less, bigger, and smaller all turn into things the party has to work out together, with fairness as the story's throughline.
Best for
Families continuing the Numeria series (characters carry over from Chapters 1–2), or anyone looking for a session built around comparison concepts specifically. Works for 1 to 4 kids plus one adult, including solo play.
What the Game Master should know
Comparison concepts (more/less/equal) tend to work well with physical props: counters, blocks, anything a young player can move around the table. The included challenge sheets give you 12 ready-made visual puzzles for exactly that. Plan for 60–90 minutes, splitting after Part 3 or 4 for younger groups. See the young-kids guide for more on making choices physical.
