What it is

Goblins GO BOOM is a level 3–5 demolition dungeon for 4–6 characters, built around a simple Chaos rule: every major disturbance (a loud fight, a failed sneak attempt, casting magic near the crystals) marks 1 Chaos, and at 3 Chaos something goes wrong. The party can reach the final chamber through four different routes, including two that open up by rescuing or bargaining with named NPCs, before facing Skrik Blackpowder, a CR 6 goblin demolitionist who fights from the terrain rather than head-on. Maps and tokens are included, so the whole thing is ready to drop into a VTT or print.

Best for

A full-session dungeon that can run as one long game night or two shorter sessions, built around escalating environmental danger instead of room-by-room combat. Good for Game Masters who like a boss fight with a real mechanical twist: Skrik triggers a tracked 5-round chamber collapse once he drops below half health, and the party has to decide whether to finish him off or stabilize the mine first.

What the Game Master should know

The included maps and tokens mean you can run this on a VTT or at a physical table without building your own assets first. The four entry routes (and the option to combine them) reward players who talk to NPCs instead of just fighting through: Borin the captured surveyor and Grikka the goblin foreman both open shortcuts if the party earns their trust. A free, shorter version of the fuse-room encounter is playable on this site if you want to test the tone before buying.
